Mother’s Day was already over and admit or not, we’ve seen lots of mom posting pictures, videos and my-day stories during and after the said celebration.
Believe it or not, I was one of the few moms who didn’t actually celebrate that event. I was one of those moms who stayed home, did all the cleaning and got a restful sleep. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to see my fellow moms having a good day. I just don’t feel it. Maybe my hormones have messed up my mood HAHAHAHA.
My husband was always asking me what I wanted for Mother’s Day in the days leading up to it, but for no apparent reason, I told him that I wanted to stay home and that I have plans to do my household chores. I like to see our home neat and organized once in a while so that I can relax in peace without seeing all the mess. He respect my decision so I thought it was the end of it.
Aside from my daughter’s artwork, my husband let me splurge on online shopping. He told me to buy whatever I wanted, which was actually a really nice move of him. He actually saved himself from stress thinking about what to buy for me, lol! Hahahaha
Now, I realize that the hearsay was actually true. Give your spouse a surprise shopping budget and her day will surely shine bright like the sun. Proven and tested!
