The festive period is known for having the most waste during its celebration period than any other time of year. The environment is in need of substantial help to undo the damage that has been done to the planet so far and reducing our carbon footprint, even with small efforts, is something we should consider.

One of the sustainable practices we do at home is wrapping yearly presents with recycled materials such as paper bags from the restaurants, and paper wrappers from supermarkets/shops that we regularly visit. A greener alternative to traditional gift wrapping.
